EUMETSAT

EUMETSAT operates the European meteorological satellites in the geostationary and in the polar orbits. The instruments on those satellites collect on daily basis indispensable information on weather and climate.
EUMETSAT does serve and support the scientific concept of the BiK research as it provides large-scale satellite observations of the evolution of climate the system. This information can provide important complementary information to biodiversity studies.
