Seven at a time - Introducing the new research team at the Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre

Frankfurt am Main, May 21, 2010. Two years ago the Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre has been established within the framework of the Hessian initiative for scientific and economic excellence (LOEWE). The aim: To explore interactions between climate change and biodiversity. Innovative research approaches and methods are used to decipher these interactions. In this way reliable predictions for the future shall be developed and knowledge gaps shall be filled. Having appointed seven out of nine professorial chairs by now the center has almost reached its authorized strength. The new professors were welcomed last friday in the context of an all-day event.
