The sixth annual meeting of the Specialist Group on Macroecology of the GfÖ will be held in Frankfurt (Germany), and aims to bring together scientists and students interested in the research field of macroecology. The conference language will be English.
With a selection of keynote presentations by high-profile researchers, a mix of contributed oral and poster sessions, open discussions and social events we aim to promote scientific exchange on macroecology and beyond, in an open and stimulating atmosphere.
The deadline for registration (see below for further information) and abstract submission was 17 December 2011.

From the airport:
To get to the city from the airport, follow the signs to the regional train station(“Regionalbahnhof”). To buy the correct ticket at the ticket machine, press “50” and then “Einzelfahrt”; this trip will cost you 4.10 €. To go to the Senckenberg Museum, take S8 or S9, (direction Hanau/Offenbach) to the central railway station (“Hauptbahnhof”) and then switch to U4 towards Bockenheimer Warte.

The registration fee includes attendance at all conference sessions, drinks and snacks during the coffee breaks, the welcome reception, and the guided tour of the Senckenberg Nature Museum (optional).
In case you would like to present a lecture and/or poster, please indicate the title and authors of your presentation in the registration form.
