B4.1: DEEP-SEA: PARASITE DIVERSITY, LIFE CYCLES AND CO-EVOLUTION

B4.1: ZOOGEOGRAPHY AND GENETIC VARIABILITY OF ZOONOTIC ASCARIDOID NEMATODES

Research interests/current works
My research interests are genetical and phylogenetical studies on terrestrial and aquatic ascaridoid nematodes isolated from invertebrates and vertebrates. Also the assessment of zoogeographical distribution patterns and evaluation of the genetic variability between anisakid species in different climatic zones. Different techniques of modern biotechnological methods like PCR, sequencing and molecular phylogenetics are used.
