Research interests

Stable isotope based paleoaltimetry and paleoclimate reconstructions
• Geochemical reconstructions of fluid flow in fault zones
• Carbonate clumped isotope (Δ47) thermometry
• Stable isotope geochemistry (δD, δ18O, δ13C)
• North American Cordilleran geology

My primary research interest is the reconstruction of paleoaltimetry and paleoclimate using traditional stable and clumped isotope geochemistry.

During my thesis I focused on the topographic evolution and the climate dynamics of the Early Cenozoic North American Cordillera through integrated geochronology, sedimentology, stable isotope, and clumped isotope thermometry studies.

Current projects involve Miocene paleoclimate reconstruction of the western US and of the European Alps.
