Mysterious Snail Journey

How can you explain that the land snail Tudorella lives on two continents, South Europe and North Africa? BiK-F researcher Markus Pfenninger was able to expose within an international cooperation that the genus separate and split in different species 30 Million years ago. The snail Tudorella spread from South Europe to North Africa because of the continental drift.
