My responsibilities include laboratory management, molecular biology methods (e.g. DNA/RNA-extraction, PCR, molecular cloning, sequencing and fragment analysis (CEQ 2000, Beckman Coulter)), cell culture techniques, protein biochemistry, protein expression (eukaryotic, bacterial), blotting, sampling and cultivation of Daphnia. In addition, I co-supervise students and assist in teaching during practical courses.
